I started GreyMedia the way most real things start — out of necessity and a refusal to ignore what I actually wanted. I'd just been let go from a marketing agency with an 8-month-old son at home and no plan. What I did have was a network built over years, a deep love for music, and proof that I knew how to build something special. At Tobin's Market I helped create a live music scene that Charleston hadn't seen before — not just shows, but experiences that made people feel like they were part of something. That feeling never left me. I named this company after my family and one of my favorite Grateful Dead songs — a song that happened to be playing in the delivery room the day my son was born. It felt like a sign. So I took a deep breath and decided to go all in.

What we're building at GreyMedia goes beyond booking acts and filling rooms. It's about raising the bar for what a live experience can be — for the artist who deserves a stage that fits them, for the venue that wants nights people talk about for years, and for the community that surrounds it all. I want to create real opportunities for local businesses, vendors, and organizations to be part of the show — not just as sponsors, but as collaborators. Every event we produce is a chance to connect people, grow something, and prove that Charleston can hold its own against any music market in the country.

I'm building this with an incredible team of passionate, awesome, and well-connected humans in the music industry — and we're just getting started. We work with independent artists and signed talent, with intimate rooms and festival stages, with first-time bookers and seasoned industry professionals. Our job is to make sure everybody in the room wins — the artist, the venue, the fan, the partner. That's not just how we do business. That's the whole point.

"Every silver lining's got a touch of grey."
